Lunch with friends in LWC water exercise class

The group also celebrated a December birthday for the member who will celebrate birthday number 92 on December 29th. Kentucky Color: National Bird
 2023-12-11 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Billy Joe Fudge. Billy Joe writes, "The Bald Eagle is our national bird, and this one was seen from the Green Hills Bridge on Russell Creek near its confluence with both Sulphur Creek and Bull Run Creek.
Bald Eagles are effective and efficient predators. However, they will also take a free meal of carrion, venison in this case, when it presents itself."

Hoops for Heritage fundraiser

Unique refreshments from new business

December's To The Nines event included light refreshments in the "Old Columbia" business owned by Dave and Tina Thomas.
The food was created, including this Christmas veggie and cheese tree, by Tonya Grant in her new business she has named Around Thy Table.
Hot chocolate was provided by the Tourist Commission. To The Nines is a special first Friday late-hours event to draw shoppers to downtown retail businesses.
