 2023-12-18 - Central Kentucky - Photo by Pen. A bald eagle braced against the wind in a roadside tree on a recent blustery December day. Bald eagles seem to be spotted along roads in Central Kentucky with increasing frequency this year -- this is the 4th eagle we've featured since September.

Safety improvements coming on US 127 and KY 619

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announces the awarding of a contract for safety improvements on U.S. 127 and KY 619 in Russell Springs through the Highway Safety Improvement Program to boost safety and traffic flow at eight intersections within the project limits. The project area is along U.S. 127 between KY 619 and KY 80. Full details are in the accompanying story.
