Happy 80th Birthday, Glenn Corbin

2024-01-11 - Green County, KY - Photo from family collection.
Judy Corbin shared, "Today, January 11, marks a very special occasion as we celebrate a milestone birthday of the most important person in my life - my soulmate - Glenn. For over five decades, he has been by my side through thick and thin, being a constant source of support and comfort. His unwavering dedication towards his children, his grandchildren, his family, his friends and loved ones deserves applause; whether it's lending an empathetic ear or offering helping hands when times are tough - everyone knows they can count on Glenn. His affectionate nature shines brightest through those famous bear hugs which bring joy wherever he goes. Wishing Happy Birthday to not just 'my better half', but also my closest friend whom I cherish every single moment we have shared together -- Here's hoping there will be numerous opportunities ahead too!
P S : I couldn't resist uploading eighty pictures since each one captures yet another wonderful aspect about Glenn's remarkable journey so far." (you can see all 80 of Judy's photos on her Facebook page - this grouping shows her dad in the top left and Glenn in his Campbellsville University jacket below left).

A block or so from the launch point for the Campbellsville University Bass Fishing team's tournament this week is a little diner that sells these breakfast arepas, stuffed with eggs, cheese, and sausage. Arepas are somewhat like the old Circle R's cornbread cakes if they were cooked until they have a crunchy exterior.
