Historic Lasley House

It has been asked about at the Adair Heritage Association with a question about future restoration. Columbia and Adair County are proving to honor our heritage by restoring structures like the historic Courthouse, the Field House and others long in need of care. Lasley family heirs own this home.

Landscape Photography: Adding The Human Element
2024-01-27 - Oregon coast - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking. Robert writes, "I like to add people in my landscape pictures whenever possible. For me it adds scale, more interest and sometimes even intrigue to the overall scene. By adding a person (or persons) to an un-staged photo, even if it's a landscape photo, it becomes in my mind a simile of 'street' photography...or at least my spin on it!
This photograph was taken back in September 2023, somewhere along the beautiful coastline of Oregon. If you look closely, you should be able to see the fishing line straight above the angler."
