New kiosks will promote Columbia and Adair County

Adair Tourism leaders met with Tourism TV Network this week and purchased two interactive kiosks to go in our community. They will show the website, visitcolumbiaky.com , and show locals and tourists what to do here, where to shop, where to eat, and where to stay in Adair County. Paige Nickel and Amy Mitchum are proud to introduce this kiosk at the Welcome and Development Center offices, 201 Burkesville Street, and another one will be placed in a high traffic area yet to be determined.

Planning for EV charging stations in Columbia

Another station will go in New Columbia. Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville was able to provide four electric vehicle charging stations to the City Of Columbia.

Adair County Tourism Commission February meeting

They plan to look into new and additional trail town signage. They discussed additional details for the tourism fundraising and chamber banquet event in the planning stage, and discussed usage of ARPA funds.
