Indians win over Washington County 70-62

That's Connor Loy, lead scorer, shooting a second half layup as ACHS Indians take charge over Washington County Tuesday night in 5th Region action! The team will play again on Friday night against the Trojans of North Hardin High School who defeated Hart County 65-33 last night to move on to the 2nd round of the region tournament.

Children's Advocacy meeting opened by AG Coleman

Attorney General Russell Coleman welcomed everyone to the Children's Advocacy Center recognition ceremony Monday and said, "It's ironic that we are meeting in this Capitol, filled with light, when what you do every day is about darkness." He provided the opening remarks for the ceremony and placed a cape on each Legendary Partner to highlight their heroic work.

As board president, she has filled a multitude of roles within the agency and has always stepped up where needed. LCCAC staff says she is one of the busiest retired people in the area. She is continually striving to build a better community for the future generations to come.

Birds of Kentucky: Great Blue Heron
 2024-03-05 - Central Kentucky - Photo by Pen. I'm not sure how he found anything through the heavy algae bloom on a local pond, but this Great Blue was fairly successful catching fish on Monday. Maybe the fish couldn't see him either.
