Metcalfe Museum open in historic Courthouse

The Metcalfe County Historical Society shares that beginning today, April 4, 2024, the Metcalfe County Courthouse Museum will be open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 11am to 3pmCT. It is located in the center of the Public Square in Edmonton, KY. They invite everyone to come visit the museum and see the beautiful redbuds while you are there!

 2024-04-04 - Adair County, KY - Photo from Trey Stephens. Adair County High School boys basketball was one of only five teams in the state to have multiple players given honorable mention in the all state team. Both Isaiah Cochran and Connor Loy were two of only 12 juniors who made the list.

Wednesday weird weather

As the wind blew you saw the newly formed fog cloud dance around and swirl in this low area. I managed to snag a picture of the fog cloud dancing around the driveway."

ACHS senior Gracelyn Janes joins US Air Force

She took the final step in this process last week. Gracelyn will be the first in her family to join the Air Force. Today, she has the support of her family: April Janes and Micah Janes. Also, in support are her recruiter, Sergeant Alexandria Woods, her Cadet Corps instructor, Krystal Redmon, and Principal Chad Parnell.

New Children's Advocacy Centers Kentucky board member

Kristin Jacobson has been selected to serve on the Children's Advocacy Centers of Kentucky board of directors.
She has worked for several years with the Lake Cumberland Children's Advocacy Center (LCCAC) based in Russell County, as assistant director, and now director. Her interest in the Center began when she interned with the LCCAC while a student at Campbellsville University's Carver School of Social Work. She also served through the years as a volunteer.

LWC could become Lindsey Wilson University
