Restoration at the Anderson Cemetery
 2024-04-04 - Adair/Green County, KY - Photo from Richard Phelps. The Anderson Cemetery in the edge of Green and Adair Counties, is undergoing a renovation with the assistance of professional restorers Jill Halcomb Smith and Jeff Smith. The cemetery has long been maintained by Lloyd and Laura Mitchell Wilds. The most recent project completed was to find and restore the marker of Mary Trabue and place her stone beside her husband Daniel's.

Group working to restore Mary Trabue's marker
 2024-04-04 - Adair/Green County, KY - Photo from Richard Phelps. The stone on the left is a new reconstructed stone of his Daniel Trabue's wife Mary which has probably missing for 100 years. It was broken into pieces and put together and re-erected by Heritage Tombstone Cleaning.

Metcalfe Museum open in historic Courthouse

The Metcalfe County Historical Society shares that beginning today, April 4, 2024, the Metcalfe County Courthouse Museum will be open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 11am to 3pmCT. It is located in the center of the Public Square in Edmonton, KY. They invite everyone to come visit the museum and see the beautiful redbuds while you are there!

 2024-04-04 - Adair County, KY - Photo from Trey Stephens. Adair County High School boys basketball was one of only five teams in the state to have multiple players given honorable mention in the all state team. Both Isaiah Cochran and Connor Loy were two of only 12 juniors who made the list.
