Lindsey Wilson students travel north for eclipse

A group of 75 LWC students, faculty and staff traveled three hours to Ferdinand State Park in Dubois County, Indiana, to experience the great solar eclipse within the path of totality on Monday. The group was led by LWC Professor of Physics Mark McKinnon. Only 13 states were within the path of totality where the moon completely obscured the sun from view.

Arnolds traveled to Indiana for the eclipse

Veronica writes, "We traveled to Indiana for the eclipse and had the pleasure to stay with friends who lived in the path of totality. We had our glasses and were ready. I managed to snap this picture. While it isn't professional grade... it reminds me of the super wow inspiring way we got to look at the sun with our naked eyes! We praised the Lord and enjoyed his awesome creation!"

Declaring April Child Abuse Prevention Month

Members of the community joined Mayor Pamela Hoots at the Adair County Board of Education's Central Office in a proclamation for Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Watching the eclipse from the Public Square
