Two experienced canoeist put in on Green River at Liberty (Casey County) before Sunday night's rainfall. On Memorial Day, they capsized, forcing them to abandon their canoe approximately 5 miles upstream of Snake Creek Ramp. There was a grave marking ceremony in 2006 for this Revolutionary War soldier who crossed the Delaware with George Washington.
