Deputy Sheriff Emily Wall honored for bravery

Little Raelynn stood with her mom, Adair County Deputy Sheriff Emily Wall, as she was recognized for her bravery in the face of danger at the April Fiscal Court meeting. She was the first responder to take on fire from the shooter on April 20th. Her heroic acts saved the life of a civilian. Sheriff Gary Roy presented her award at the April Fiscal Court meeting.

ACMS FFA students visit Hobdy, Dye, and Read

On Monday, April 27, 2026, Adair County Middle School Agriculture/FFA 8th graders learned about ag mechanics careers at Hobdy, Dye, and Read. Students spoke to Mr. Lee Jessee about ag engineering and sales and Mr. Jeff Ford about a day in the life of an ag mechanic.

7th Grade FFA students visit Ag Revolution

On Monday, April 27, 2026, Adair County Middle School Agriculture/FFA Classes visited Ag Revolution. Seventh grade students had the opportunity to speak to Mr. Alex Kelsay and Mr. Kenton Vaughn to learn about the variety of agriculture careers available at Ag Revolution and all the technological advances in farm equipment, such as the specific data recorded and used by planters and combines on the crop side and Total Mixed Ration wagons in livestock farming.
