Sunset over Cane Valley
2024-06-03 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking. Robert wrote of this scene, "I think this time I’ll just keep mostly quiet and let the picture do the talking."
We are always happy when Robert turns his lens to the special scenes he sees in rural Kentucky, but fellow photographer (and sometimes CM contributor) William Lamkin had the perfect words for this photo when he wrote to Robert, "Wonderful photo. It's kind of a picture of your life's work. Woodworker, tending grapes, and then the photo itself displays your love of photography. It shows the places where you have most likely had many conversations with God, and it shows his beauty displayed for you. This photo really speaks to me more than any you have ever taken because it tells a story of you."

Touring the home of Henry and Janice Holt Giles
2024-06-02 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Keysha Tucker welcomed guests to the historic log home of Henry and Janice Holt Giles in the lush green countryside outside of Knifley, KY Saturday. The house will be open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon through the summer. They were delightful hosts, and I can't help but think how glad they'd be to see company stopping by to enjoy the home and grounds they so proudly built and shared during their lifetimes. -- LW
