Dr. McQueary, his family members and business associates came together for a Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony Friday. Touring the home of Henry and Janice Holt Giles

Keysha Tucker welcomed guests to the historic log home of Henry and Janice Holt Giles in the lush green countryside outside of Knifley, KY Saturday. The house will be open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon through the summer. They were delightful hosts, and I can't help but think how glad they'd be to see company stopping by to enjoy the home and grounds they so proudly built and shared during their lifetimes. -- LW

Adair Indian basketball wins over Warriors

Adair County Boy's Basketball defeated the Warriors of Southwestern High School 74-66. Blane Bardin has the ball in this photo and Lane Grant is right behind him. Summer ball rolls on for the team as they host Bowling Green and Washington County on Monday.
