Mr. Hutchison's farewell to his loyal customers appeared fifty years ago this week, in the July 11, 1974 edition of The Columbia Statesman:

Bodhi and his family in the parade

Bodhi, a Hosparus therapy dog in training, is pictured with his family in the Campbellsville Fourth of July parade. Bodhi's owner is Christy Morris, at left, and her dad, Danny Morris, is in the back seat. Bodhi will go to work with Christy each day once he is fully trained in ways to help and comfort Hosparus clients.

We celebrate Independence Day holiday week around our American flag and it comes in every form. The collection of small flag pinwheels made a good bouquet in Hailey's view during the 2024 celebration of our country.
