Educator of the Year: Chad Parnell

Adair County High School Principal Chad Parnell was voted the 2024 Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year. He is pictured, center, with Columbia Adair County Chamber President Landon Edwards, State Senator Max Wise, State Representative Amy Neighbors and Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ellen Zornes. Chad was a wonderful tech teacher and one of the most popular teachers at ACHS. His devotion to ACHS and its students did not go unnoticed and he was chosen to become principal of Adair County High School.

At the July 2024 Fiscal Court meeting

All Magistrates and Fiscal Court officials wee present Tuesday, July 23, 2024 for the regular monthly meeting. A highlight of the meeting was gaining agreement and the ACJE's signature on the million dollar grant to go toward full restoration of the historic Adair County Courthouse, the key landmark of this place.
