The first flowering is June, the last three weeks of Spring, and now in early August, the middle three weeks of Summer. I wonder if there is a natural timing with two different butterfly migrations? Butterfly Milkweed is the easiest wildflower to raise. Just drive around the countryside till you see some growing along the roadside, dig'm up while keeping a clump of dirt on the roots and head home to plant them. It is just that easy.
