Fall Web Worms at work

According to Billy Joe Fudge this is what happens to a plant when Fall Web Worms take over. They devour all the leaf while leaving the largest leaf veins. They will move on to other leaves as they need more food until the end of this cycle of their life. The good news is that plants have already made most of the starches they need to fire up the growing season next spring.

Tina Thomas a business leader in Columbia

Tina Thomas, known for her dedication to preserving and promoting local heritage through Old Columbia, is involved with Strong Women in business and with the Columbia Adair County Chamber of Commerce.

She was one of the first to gather at the Welcome and Development Center on Burkesville Street for the initial Strong Women Strong Coffee networking kickoff meeting.
