Simpson Reliford receives medal for service in Norway 2014-06-09 - Red Barn Event Center, Wilson Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by Chris Wilson. On June 6, 2014, Adair County native Simpson Reliford, center with his wife, Shirley Reliford beside him, was honored with an award from the Norwegian government for his efforts in helping their country during World War II.
