LWC's 93rd Homecoming Celebration this weekend
 2024-09-24 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Lindsey Wilson College. Lindsey Wilson College's 93rd homecoming celebration will be held September 26-28, 2024. An event-packed weekend dubbed "All Roads Lead Home" will feature reunions for the Bonner Scholars and Volunteers; a reunion for former LWC Homecoming kings and queens; a reunion for graduates of the LWC education program; a homecoming kickoff event with fireworks and a pep rally; and an alumni tailgate.

Mystery picture names and event identified

The first to guess the event and some of the people - and become Columbia Magazine's winning mystery memory superstars of the day - are Phyllis Curry and Richard Phelps who puzzled the name of the event - the Adair County Pepper Festival - and several of the volunteers' names in the picture.

Post 15 Troopers and Officers honored at Awards Ceremony
 2024-09-24 - Frankfort, KY - Photo courtesy Kentucky State Police. During the 2023 Sworn Awards, two troopers and a detective from the Post 15 area were honored. Trooper First Class Jonathan Houk was named the Public Affairs Officer of the Year, Detective Zachary Scott was named the Post 15 Detective of the Year, and Trooper Daniel Smith was named the Post 15 Trooper of the Year.

ACHS Indians win over Monroe County 36-30
 2024-09-23 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Trey Stephens, ACHS Staff Writer for Columbia Magazine. Adair County High School football defeated Monroe County 36-30 in a last minute thriller Friday night. The Indians came out in impressive fashion and built up a 20-6 halftime lead, but the Falcons would not go away easily and stormed back.
