2014-10-21 - ACHS, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia KY - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne, Adair Co. School District photo. The Adair County High School Student Ambassadors are doing their part to help promote and support the State Farm 2N2 Commitment Contest. The contest is being used to help create public awareness for students to always have 2 eyes on the road, and 2 hands on the wheel. They ACHS Ambassadors decided for their generation the best avenue was social media. So they created selfies with their promotion shirts on and then posted reminders to friends and family. They are a pretty good crew and include Hannah Absher, Ashley Bragg, Brandon Burton, Isaac Carter, Spencer Claypool, Katherine Curry, Sara Dunbar, Kayla Garrison, Kaitlyn Grant, Linsey Grant, Austin Hatcher, Chloe Hixson, Kelsie Keltner, Beth Owens, Kassidy Roy, Cole Schmidt, Makayla Smith, and Lauren Talley. Remember it is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 just VOTE FOR ACHS Daily at http://www.celebratemydrive.com/Commit It only takes a couple of minutes and it's fun. We are on the rise folks, we can do this together!

2014-10-21 - 104 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo Campaign photo. To the Voters of the City of Columbia, KY:
I would like to take this opportunity and thank the community for their support during the time I have served as a city councilman. I have always felt a great responsibility to serve our community and over the past years have strived to move our city forward and in a progressive way. It is my intention to ensure that a strategic plan be structured and followed through in a manner that allows more transparency and accountability of how we do business. I want to encourage everyone to exercise their right to choose the leaders they believe are most qualified and will be the most effective. I ask that you vote on November 4th for the candidates you believe will best represent you and the city of Columbia. Thank you. - CHARLES GRIMSLEY
