Nanami Hikichi teaches ACMS students how to use chopsticks

Nanami Hikichi from Japan used her station to teach middle school students how to use chopsticks at the ACMS Cultural Awareness & Diversity Day. Hikichi is a recreation, tourism and sport management freshman at LWC.

Thirteen countries were represented by Lindsey Wilson College's International Student Programs at the event on November 15, 2024.

Karolina Bidnik tells ACMS students about her native Poland

Karolina Bidnik spoke to sixth-grade students about the cultures and customs of her home country, Poland. Bidnik is a senior at Lindsey Wilson College majoring in sustainability and environmental studies and is on the LWC swimming team.

She was one of 19 LWC international students to participate in the ACMS Cultural Awareness & Diversity Day on November 15, 2024.

OCC 2024: ACHS FCA

Alijah Baerg and Kate Familia add a finishing touch to the shoebox gifts collected by the ACHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The boxes prepared by the FCA and the Lady Indians basketball team gives Adair County or than 3,000 shoebox gifts with three days of collection remaining.

OCC 2024: Over 3,000 shoebox gifts collected so far

The ACHS FCA And Girls Basketball team combined forces to put the total number of shoebox gifts collected in Adair County over the 3,000 mark for the second year in a row. Lady Indians head coach Stacia Hill has been packing boxes for many years and this year the Lady Indians joined her in packing shoebox gifts.
