Return Visit to Windmill Farms, 2 of 5

2026-05-05 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, robertelliswoodworking.com.
Robert writes, "It was a number of years ago, when I happened around this corner for the first time and my eyes were introduced to the Bennett place and the mind-boggling collection of antiques Stacie had on display. I've been back numerous times; it's always fun (and a challenge) to do photography there. So much interesting stuff makes it hard to focus on just one thing!"

Latest arrivals at Windmill Farms

2026-05-04 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, robertelliswoodworking.com.
Robert writes, "On a whim, I decided to head on over to Stacie Bennett's place to see what new 'toys' he has added to his collection. I try to visit it about once a year, since he's always adding something different and re-arranging things. On this Saturday, he happened to be there and pointed out his semi truck and trailer with some of his latest additions. A man can never have too many antique tractors...right?"

Lawson reveals identity at commencement address

2026-05-04 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Lindsey Wilson University.
Lindsey Wilson English graduate Zachariah Lawson of Williamsburg, Kentucky, who gave the commencement address at the Saturday morning ceremony, reveals his identity as Lindsey Wilson University mascot, Blue Raider Bob.

"I've had the honor of being Blue Raider Bob," Lawson said. "And if there's one thing I've learned - whether in a suit, behind a title or standing here as myself - it's this: showing up matters, bringing energy matters, lifting people up matters, and being part of something bigger than yourself matters."

This was Lindsey Wilson's first spring commencement celebration since becoming Lindsey Wilson University in July, 2025.
