Harold Burton one of first Adair Countians at Free Tipping Day

First District Magistrate Harold Burton was one of the first to arrive Friday morning, April 22, 2016, at the Transfer Station to get rid of trash on Free Tipping Day. In two days, nearly 72 tons of trash was hauled away from Adair County homes and businesses during the spring clean up event. - Charlie Crawhorn, Adair County Solid Waste Coordinator.

Makala Antle passes tests for globally recognized certification

Campbellsville High School sophomore Makala Antle recently passed exams to receive globally recognized industry certification. Antle has passed all three of the required Certiport exams, as of Wednesday, April 20, to receive IC3 digital literacy certification. Those classes include key applications, living online and computing fundamentals. Sonya Kessler is the CHS computer science teacher. - Calen McKinney
