2016-07-04 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c). On this July Fourth holiday morning we were guided by the Mt. Tussell Road sign and knew it would take us to the connecting road to downtown Knifley, KY. And for all the vacationers in Adair who aren't familiar with the area, it's pronounced NIF-Lee. There's an IF in the pronunciation of the name Knifley, but there's no KNIFE, in the pronunciation of Knifley, as some from off may wonder.-- Linda Waggener
