Summer Blue Flowers: Hydrangeas

This hyrangea stands out along Miller Avenue these days. Locally, some call them "Blue Snowball Bushes," but there's a distinction, flower fancier Mike Watson told us. The white snowball bush is viburnum, and it, according to weather folklorist, can be tracked for signs of winter's waning. Blue Hydrangeas just stand around looking pretty, like this one. - EW
