Epicurean Kentuckian: What's the secret Hamburger flavor (Ad)?

2016-09-03 - Pattys Liberty Road General Store and Deli, 5097 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY - Photo ColumbiaMagazine.com (C) advertising.
Patty Edwards makes what former Columbia-Union Presbyterian Pastor Eldon Trubee would surely have described as a "sincere" hamburger. It's hefty, hand patted, with lettuce (chopped, he insisted it just be a uncut and sticking out around the edges, with a thick slice of tomato and a slice - not a hint - of sweet white onion and some dill pickle slices. It's got a secret ingredient and, despite using all ethical espionage and interrogation techniques, we have been unable to extract any useful information. Patty's Liberty Road General Store and Deli is a long time advertiser in What's Cooking on ColumbiaMagazine.com.
