Yearbook Ads ACHS of 1972 - A point along the Cruising Route 2016-09-29 - Downtown, Columbia, KY - Photo from the display table, Class of 1972 44th year reunion. Cruising in Columbia took a fairly standard route, always including a trip around the Public Square, always past this landmark, Collins Corner Drug, now the Flower Garden, and then a building which housed the David Wells Insurance Agency. Then is was up Jamestown Hill, to Russell Road, to circle the Circle R, then back to Jamestown Street and a left to circle the Jim Dandy Drive In, and then either a trip to the Square and repeat repeatedly, or; a variation from the Jim Dandy, across Tutt Street to the Burkesville and north to the Square for repeated cruises.
