Byron Dean, scores 8 straight points in CU v Harris Stowe game

Byron Dean, freshman forward from Central High School (Our Lady of the Lake), Memphis, TN, Dean, starting in place of Kelton Ford who broke his jaw in the season opener, came out firing in the second half. Dean scored eight-straight points - hitting a layup and a pair of 3s - pushing Campbellsville University out to its largest lead of nine points, 43-34 with 15:45 left, but the Tigers' effort fell just short, 71-68 in a loss at Harris-Stowe University in St. Louis, MO. - Jordan Alves
