Historic Green County, KY: Blowing Springs 2017-02-21 - Blowing Springs, Blowing Springs Road at Old Spring Road, Green County, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, Columbiamagazine.com(c) . Long lunch hour daytrip: It's a time machine which takes one back to a more pleasant time, located on a "shortcut road." The main throughfare is Blowing Springs Road, soon to intersect, in the photo above, with Old Spring Road. The "shortcut" for many is from Gresham, at the "Y" via Ebenezer Road to downtown Ebenezer, taking a left there at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church on Blowing Springs Road for a leisurely and arguably one of the most scenic roads in America.
