Early this morning, this picture was taken, trying to determine the voice of this solo crow - whether it was a bass or baritone (definitely not a soprano or alto) - but the true meaning was learned later, after receiving a note from Lee Ann Jessee issuing a warning to creators and owners of Squarecrows to secure them against possible incoming rainy and windy weather. According to This Old Farmers Almanac entry, when crows fly in pairs, the weather will be fair - but crows flying alone mean foul weather is ahead.
