For the past two weekends, Blue Raider Stadium, Columbia has been the site of NAIA national football series playoffs, drawing huge crowds to the community. 2017-11-26 - Main Street, Russell Springs, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Royce Campbell & Sons Trucking of Windsor, KY, decked out with a Christmas wreath, made an impressive sight coming South on Main Street, with shiny chrome and bright blue paint perfectly complementing the Christmas lights. Right behind him, from the Russell Springs suburbs, was Royville'& Beckham Ridge's own Lisa Fisher-Clark, piloting the WAVE-mobile for 92.7 FM. The weather was perfect, with shirtsleeve warmth and perfectly blue November skies and a really large turnout. - EW

Kayaking weather good on Green River 25 Nov 2017

2017-11-25 - Green River Lake - Photo by Mitzi McKinley Bault.
I had to have some therapy today. Loaded up my kayak and met Robyn Curry at Snake Creek. Oh how the sun was wonderful. I came home to a mess, Christmas stuff all in boxes and on the floor. I really should have stayed at home getting stuff put up. But I had a better time on the water! -- MB
