Late to fall leaves, foreground, and lights in military order - for revielle, which didn't sound - gave an interesting pattern to the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex on Saturday morning, November 25, 2017. Even without the bugle call, it was a huge day on campus, and students and the town were soon up to take in as much of the beautiful day as possible. - EW

Load of gravel spilled over roadway in one-vehicle accident


2017-11-27 .
Kentucky State Police investigated this single vehicle injury collision on KY 55 near the intersection of Montpelier Road Monday, 27 Nov 2017, around 1:19pmCT. KSP reported preliminary investigations indicated 29 year-old Dennis Rowe’s vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the roadway, when he attempted to regain control, the load of rock he was carrying shifted causing the vehicle to overturn. KY 55 was closed for several hours while crews cleaned up the collision. - KSP Sergeant Jason Morris

Brooks Corbin tested the big antique bed at Giles House

Everyone found something different to experience at the annual Janice Holt and Henry Giles Festival in October. Little Brooks Corbin was fascinated by this big antique bed in the Giles House.
