Julie, John and Josh Brockman discuss Foust property sale

Congratulations were offered after Saturday's parade on news that had happened in the life of the Brockman family. Julie, at left, said, "John called me this morning and said, 'hey, honey I bought a piece of property.'" And, indeed he had. At the Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 Bryant Realty auction, John and Julie Brockman of Columbia became the new owners of the Pam Foust/Ralph Hurt estate -- what may possibly be the last undisturbed ground from earliest Columbia. CPD Officer Josh Brockman, at right, said his brother John, center, had called and asked if he'd like to become a partner but Josh said he'd have to weigh it against the campaign he's set to run. Julie, a history teacher at ACHS, said she welcomes information about the house and property as she and John make plans for it. -- LW
