I have filed as a candidate for the office of Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) of Adair County. I am the son of Jeff and Rita Neat, who are longtime residents of this community. I met my lovely wife Michelle (Copley) Neat right here in Adair County while she attended Lindsey Wilson College. I have called Adair County home my entire life and to say I'm excited for the possibility of serving the people of this great community is an understatement. I graduated from Adair County High school before attending and graduating from Western Kentucky University with my Bachelor's degree and Morehead State University with a Master's of Business Administration degree. I serve as the Assistant Superintendent and Secretary at New Hope Separate Baptist Church, where my family and I have attended my entire life. I have managed a health care facility for the past several years which has provided me valuable management and budgetary experience which would serve me well in the PVA office. If elected, my goal is simple: to treat everyone fairly and respectfully, provide honest and unbiased valuations, and to offer my full commitment to the betterment of both the PVA office and Adair County, our home. The promise I make to you as voters is that I, if elected as a servant of this county, will have a very real presence in the office. I will be reachable by phone, e-mail, or by open door policy if you have questions or concerns for me. I vow to treat everyone with dignity, respect, and fairness.
