Happened into a good friend who asked what flowers I'd been out taking pictures of lately. Moss -- it's the only bright color I seem to find in mid-February in Kentucky! She reminded me that it is Crocus time (indeed we've already had the announcement) and any minute their color will be flowering lawns all around.
