CHS girls' basketball players celebrate their win. Campbellsville High School girls' basketball team is this year's 20th District tournament champions. To advance to the championship game, CHS defeated Adair County on Tuesday, then took on Marion County in the championship game Friday and won by a score of 51-41.

Dr. Joel Carwile was saved and baptized as an 8-year-old boy at Shanghai Baptist Church in Limestone County, AL. He had a very emotional rededication to Christ when he was 17 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. It was there he was called to preach but did not follow through with that calling until he was 24 years old. He is a Campbellsville University Board of Trustees member, alumnus and pastor of First Baptist Church in Athens, AL, and will being speaking at CU's weekly chapel service Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
