A noble, well behaved ever vigilant dog waited outside Betty's at Breakfast time on Tuesday. Since I don't know it's name I can only say that it is not a "true" grass, in my opinion. Just to the right of the plant in question is "Wild Onion" which as we all know comes back each year from below ground bulbs. As you can see from the picture of the roots of what I believe to be the same plant from my yard, it also regenerates from bulbs. I never had the plant in my yard until I made a clandestine, late afternoon run to move some rich, Russell Creek, bottomland soil into one of my flowerbeds.
