The old fashioned double Daffodils are just now coming into full, explosive bloom, bringing in this first day of spring 2018. They have many more than double the petals of regular ones, but since my grandmother called them doubles when they grew wild in her yard, I call them that until I learn something more official. The casualty of what would be, at best guess, destruction of an expensive Yield sign was left Saturday afternoon at the exit off the Public Square at Greensburg Street. The The loss of these signs would seem to be happening too often not to search for more effective answers. Out in the county, destruction of signs appears to be intentional vandalism, which seems to be at an all time high.
