There were lots of "whoas," "gees" and "haws" at the Homeplace on Green River at Saturday's (April 21, 2018) plow day/spring festival. "Whoa, look at that," "Gee, I've never seen one of those before," and "Haw! See I told you the kids would have a ball here." And, of course, as occasional commands for the 15 horse and mule plow teams, too. Dean of Students Robbie Harmon comments of 2018 school calendar update

Dean Robbie Harmon went over the latest revision to the Adair County School District Calendar, with one addition to the revised March 23, 2018 calendar as posted with a link each school day with ColumbiaMagazine.com's school menu: That addition is that May 25, 2018, the closing day for staff, is also Graduation Day. He gave the report with a stern warning to the weatherman and David Jones, the Director of Student Transportation, not to do anything to change this latest calendar revision. The cast of the stars of the Thursday, April 19, 2018 board of education meeting earned a State Championship with their production of "Bus Safety for Everyone," A multi media program including a student produced video.
