Fish swimming upstream in Crocus Creek, Inroad, Adair Co., KY
2018-04-29 - Inroad-on-704 at Melson Ridge Road, Adair Co., KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. The clear waters of Crocus Creek made it easy to photograph as many as 25-30 of this large species of fish below the Melson Ridge Bridge. Our in-house fish identifiers were thinking chubs or suckers, and wondered if the white noses might be an unhealthy condition. Information about the phenomenon from experienced Crocus Creek experts appreciated. Related: KY Fish & wildlife fish identification booklet: fw.ky.gov/Fish/Documents/kyfishid[1].pdf
