The theme of the parade is the early 1800s. Dress up if possible, but of course not mandatory. The parade will originate at the blue gym. Checking out the Pokeweed harvest 2018-05-07 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Blue the Cat helped me harvest the Pokeweed this morning and the plan is to carefully boil it, drain it, boil it again, drain it again, then boil it a third time (which makes it safe to eat, according to urban dictionary) and enjoy it with a little salt, pepper and vinegar.
