Hungry Kids Cafe at FM 2 - Phoenix McDaniel, Chief Assistant

FM2/Hungry Kids Cafe Director Lois Cunningham admitted she'd be hard pressed to serve everyone at the cafe were it not for Phoenix McDaniel, a volunteer today, who greets diners, gets drinks for them, shows them to their tables, and acts as gofer when supplies are needed. "He's the best," Lois Cunningham said. The Cafe was extraordinarily busy at breakfast this morning, Saturday, August 4, 2018. By noon, with many vendors starting to sell all they brought to the market, lunch was busy but not overwhelming. - EW
