Elisha Crawhorn, Kindergarten student in Mrs. Laura Keltner’s class, is all smiles after she had her dental screening and received her gift pack with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and other dental goodies. Cumberland Family Medical Center, in conjunction with Family Resource Youth Services Centers, offered preventative service for students with permission from parents. This week is the first time I've seen Swamp Milkweed, a favorite feast for butterflies, in this pretty pink hue. Usually, Milkweed is spotted in its flaming orange color.
