He suffered cardiac arrest at home Thursday evening. He was revived by Adair County EMS and rushed to the hospital where he remains in critical condition. We are trying to be bedside as much as possible, but Ed's priority has always been that the news must be delivered, so we'll keep updating Columbia Magazine, too. We know it would mean a lot to him if you keep sending news and pictures, and if you recall a special photo or story from over the 20+ years of archives, it would be wonderful to have that reminder to share. Ok, here's the answer to "Mystery Photo ID 79559: Where in the 7 county area?" It was made on an August Sunday, so clear that driving into this popular public place provided a view with layers of green, then blue hills popping, one after the other, all the way to blue sky. The roofline is on the Dale Hollow State Dock tucked in beside the lake. It appeared as a mystery to me and became one of the ColumbiaMagazine.com mystery photos. The view, if there were no building there, would allow you to see Trooper Island on the other side of the lake.
