Citation Sovereign on final approach

This Cessna Citation Sovereign made a slow, low pass over the ponds at Salato as it was lined up to land at Capital City Airport (FFT). According to FlightAware, the 2007 Cessna 680 had flown 840 miles from Houston's DWH airport in approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, at something close to 500mph.

Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky. Clarke is a Mission Service Corps missionary, serving with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention. All chapel services are open to the public and free of charge.

Squarecrows 2018: this year dedicated to Ed Waggener

Ed and I always agreed on the Squarecrows! We would laugh and talk about how cute they were and such a bright spot for our town and how they brought so many visitors to the square...day and night...and literally brought the square to life.

As I was registering Squarecrows this year, I thought of how much Ed would have loved them. He'd be making me count each, individual crow to see if we beat last year's record. Yes, Ed, we have!

As long as we have fun, innovative things going on in Columbia and Adair County, Ed will always be with us. This year's Squarecrows are dedicated to Ed...May the fun continue.
