The 2018 Adair County Fire Department fundraiser for the Crusade for Children charity was a big event. Good weather and campaigners brought the crowds. Chefs like Billy Hadley, left, and Charles Crawhorn helped keep production going. All the food preparation, serving and cleanup was done by members of the Department.

NWS: Sever weather still possible, but probability lowered
 2018-11-05 - Louisville, KY - Photo courtesy Mike Keltner, Adair Co. Emergency Management. According to NWS, it's likely that "a squall line, or multiple lines and clusters of storms, will move through this evening into the early morning hours. Damaging winds will be the main threat with the line, but brief tornadoes and flash flooding will be possible as well. Models have sped up the storms a bit and it looks like everything should be out of here before sunrise Tuesday."
