Gingko's golden leaves 2018-11-15 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Darryl Smith. Darryl writes, "I know what you mean about the hit-or-miss coloration of the Ginkgo trees. This specimen is at my late Mother's house; the Fall before last it went gold but all the leaves were on the ground before I got to see it. Last Fall it went green to gone. This year I watched it every day, it peaked on November 1st and within a week it was bare. I did manage to get a few pictures of it this year." Adair County Fiscal Court met in a special early afternoon called meeting to allow time for all members to leave for the KACo (Kentucky Association of Counties) conference in Lexington. Before the meeting began, Adair County Judge Executive Mike Stephens gave a warm message of congratulations to the new CJE Elect, Gale Cowan.
