More barges sink at McAlpine Dam

WDRB is reporting that a 7th coal barge has sunk in the Ohio, after an accident on Christmas Day left them untethered and pinned against the McAlpine Dam just above the Falls of the Ohio.

Big Al writes, "On New Year's Eve, I mosied over to Glasgow, Kentucky with my friend Crystal Stotts and got to celebrate the new year with the Kentucky Headhunters and Artimus Pyle from Lynyrd Skynyrd. I had the pleasure of being able to hang out with Fred and Richard Young and also spoke with legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Artimus Pyle. It was a great performance which ended up with the entire theater singing Dumas Walker at midnight."
