Rita Moss and her daughter Carla are helping us update the Adair County Veterans list on Columbia Magazine. At left is Eugene Simmons Moss who served in World War II New Hebrides Islands, now known as Vanuatu, South Pacific, sent to Hawaii for rejuvenation. Eugene's son Robert Regan Moss was in the US Army in the Vietnam era. Bob served in Hanau, Germany, 23rd Engineering Battalion, secret clearance so he couldn't reveal anything.
