After being upgraded between 2013 and 2015, it is expected to serve into the 2050s."

2019-04-13 - Valdosta, GA - Photo by Pen.
Neat brickwork and lots of manicured plantings mark the sidewalks in Valdosta, Georgia, spotted on a recent trip south. The plantings provide a nice buffer between vehicles and pedestrians, and the bumpouts at crosswalks mean fewer lanes for pedestrians to cross, as well as slowing traffic slightly at the crosswalks.
